Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) has officially announced the completion of their roster rebuild, featuring the addition of Danish in-game leader Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, alongside new players Rasmus "sjuush" Beck, Michel "ewjerkz" Pinto, and Rafael "arrozdoce" Wing. To kick off their new lineup, NIP will temporarily enlist Audric "JACKZ" Jug as a stand-in, allowing the team to accept Wildcard tournament invitations.

Snappi, a seasoned leader at 34 years old, previously guided ENCE to a remarkable second place in the world rankings in 2023. NIP believes his experience in developing young talent will be invaluable for their fresh but inexperienced roster. The only remaining player from the previous lineup is Ukrainian sniper Artem "r1nkle" Moroz.

The addition of sjuush, a long-term target for the organization, will serve as a cornerstone for the team, reuniting him with former HEROIC coach Richard "Xizt" Landström. The roster is further bolstered by the inclusion of IEM Cologne semi-finalists ewjerkz and arrozdoce, both hailing from the SAW team.

With Snappi's arrival, Gareth "MisteM" Ries, a graduate from Young Ninjas, will be benched, despite being touted as the "future" of NIP by Esports Director Erik Wendel earlier this year. Meanwhile, former players Isak "isak" Fahlén and Fredrik "REZ" Sterner have found new homes with Metizport and GamerLegion, respectively.

This marks the second complete overhaul for NIP in just nine months, following a significant roster change in March 2024. As a result, the team will start with zero points in the Valve Global Standings. While there is a potential pathway to tournament invitations through Wildcard slots, the current lineup does not meet Valve's criteria, as only Snappi and sjuush have played for a top-eight team in the past year.

To address this, JACKZ will step in for arrozdoce during their debut in the CCT, as he qualifies through his recent stand-in role with Vitality. NIP has indicated that JACKZ's involvement will be temporary, likely around the 10-match threshold required for ranking in the Valve Standings.

With this new lineup, NIP aims to make a strong impression in the competitive scene and reclaim their position among the top teams in esports.
